Second of two flights (first one from Dover AFB, this one from Travis AFB) to deliver parts for the RNZAF's C-130J simulator. To date, RNZAF pilots need to conduct flight training in the US. I watched the first one land, unfortunately it was at night and the approach was from the opposite end of where I was standing. Aircraft landed very quietly - conditions were clear and no wind.

Very short runway - barely over 2000m, amazing how the crew are able to manoeuvre such a big plane seemingly effortlessly. Only time I've seen these aircraft in real life was from the air on a flight between Philadelphia and Newport News which passed over Dover AFB in Delaware. There were about 10 of them on the apron and they looked massive even from that altitude.
