Hi All,

While compiling my personal Annual Review for FBSPO aviation at Durban's King Shaka International Airport (KSIA) during December last, I happened to flip between the arrivals counter page and the chronological history of Emirates that I have completed. I noticed that the counter figure at the close of the year was exactly 100 out on the equivalent figure in the chronological history. This shouldn't be! Obviously, they should be exactly the same.
Clearly there was an error somewhere and it most likely would be in the counter and affect the hundreds, but where to start?
Should my manual check start at 100 working upwards or at number 5,314 and decreasing?
For no logical reason I chose to start at 100, which later proved to have been the correct option.
At number 1,514 the small but huge anomaly was detected. The next entry should have been 1,515, but was instead completed as 1,615 with the 100 error being perpetuated indefinitely.
It took a few hours to manually correct all the faulty numbers.
So Emirates' 5,000th actual arrival at KSIA has now been corrected, yet again, to June 1, 2025 as flown by A6-EGZ!
The quest for perfection.
