Obtained this patch today:
815 Naval Air Squadron, Fleet Air Arm, by way of 226 Flt, HMS Dragon.
For some strange reason, the Lt Cdr was rather attached to his Wings.

Obtained this leather helmet from a lurking member Leather flying helmet with Gosport Tubes (Circa 1937), used by his relative who joined the SAAF in 1938, instructing on the Hawker Fury and Hart before heading for North Africa and then, on secondment to the RAF, Burma.

Not my kettle.  I've ordered some styrofoam mannequin heads and these should arrive in the next four weeks. Will make for better props.
