THERE IS A POSSIBILITY THAT THE REMAINS OF 2ND LIEUTENANT M.C. BOTHA, WHO DIED IN AN AIRCRAFT ACCIDENT IN KOREA ON 28 AUGUST 1953, MIGHT BE FOUND. News have been received from Korea regarding the possible location of the remains of a UN Pilot, possibly that of 2nd Lieutenant M.C. Botha who ejected from his F-86 Sabre No 614/P. He bailed out on the coast but drifted out to sea and it was believed that he landed in the shallow water of the mud flats off the coast and could have been overcome by the mud. We urgently need to find the relatives of 2nd Lieutenant M.C. Botha to obtain DNA samples.
