Hi guys, my first real post here, hope it’s something you enjoy.
I was in Luanda a week ago and made a quick dash through the Armed forces museum on my way to the airport. I knew they had 856 tail and wondered what was left of Capt/General Schur’s plane that was shot down. They have the tail and a nose cone in the main museum and lots of bits in a pile outside. I could make out what I assume is wing, control surfaces, drop tank, rocket pod and the MB seat back. Let’s hear what you guys think about it. The Puma tail I will post separately if you want. There are other displays including a very disturbing pic of a killed “pilot” probably a flight technician from a shot down Alouette, but I will not include that.
Regards
Karl

Many thanks for posting Karl. Most interesting and I'd like to see the Puma tail too.
