Hey Tarryn

Can you please give me some info.

What is the availibility of time like after basic training, officer's forming and the courses after that?

Will there be time to do external work (for another company) by yourself?
or are you busy for the full three years of training, day to night?

Thanx alot

I'm not sure if Tarryn is a member of this forum yet, so excuse me if I make a comment before her

I'm pretty sure that your time during flight training will be as busy, or even more so, than before  There will be plenty to occupy your evenings, such as all those books and lists that you'll need to study and memorise

Besides, I think the conditions of employment with the State precludes you from working for anyone else.

Moonlighting (outside of contract) whilst in the employ of the State (and by inference the DoD (SAAF)) is illegal. In particular in the military you are 24 hrs bound.
