Greetings from the U.S. and, Dean, thanks for assisting with forum admission. So I have a 1/48th scale Monogram Liberator in-progress and my plan is to depict "The Little Queen II" from 31 Squadron, SAAF. However, I had a few questions about the aircraft and I figured this would be a great place to start:

1) I read somewhere that the roundels on SAAF B-24s may have kept the red RAF center but the fin flash was SAAF orange. Is that confirmed?

2) Were the fuselage codes for 31 Sqdn. grey or white? I can do a white or Sky Grey "Q" for "The Little Queen II" but was just trying to confirm the color.

3) SAAF ball turrets removed like on most RAF Liberators?
