Post subject:  Omani C-130 (Royal Air Force of Oman) visits RAF Waddington
A nicely camouflaged C-130H Hercules from RAFO (Royal Air Force of Oman) visited Waddington on a two night stop-over. I believe the aircraft transported members of the Omani Royal Guard Military Band to Glasgow, Scotland, for an event. The military band has performed at various locations across the UK in the past.

RAF 'Sentinels' (Awacs):-

Of the 7 aircraft the RAF had, two were taken over by the Chilean Air Force in 2022, one returned the US in 2020, and the remaining four are in various stages of scrapping. An eyesore for us photographers, those wrecks showing up in our pictures ... :(
