Hi there guys!

Does any one have an idea of what’s the SAAF maximum allowable limit of flying hours for a cadet entry? :?:

The thing is, I just completed my PPL with 62hours behind my name and now I'm up for my selection on the 10th of August...I heard from “not so reliable” sores that there's a maximum allowance of 60 flying hours to join. :?

Al though my sores is as I said:” Not so reliable", knowing this will put my mined to ease!

Info will be appreciated!

Cheers

Last I heard the SAAF is also looking at COM pilots to enter. When looking at this, there should be no limmit or max hours. It all counts towards experience and motivation to become a military aviator.

Hey Countryboy!

Well, if that is the case, then I assume I won’t be having a problem, now would I! :D

Thanks for the info! That really puts my mind to ease...

Cheers

No problem Justus,

My contact is within the selection system, so I trust it is correct.

Good luck with the selection and just maybe I will see you in the SAAF.

That’s awesome!

I have a friend who’s in the air force a the moment(Corne Botha); he just started his training in May.

He told me that they had just finished the "Gogga" and it was no walk in the park!!

All and all, I can’t wait to join you guys!

Thanks country boy, will keep you informed of my progress!

Cheers
