As the long hours of lockdown kick in, has anyone else noticed how similiar the flag of Sheldon and Leonard's apartment is to the 89 CFS crest?

The "lion rampant" is one of the basic elements of traditional European heraldry, its been used since "forever".

I only noticed this today. Haven’t been around this forum for a while. This badge was done by myself as well as this motto. This was prior to 89 Combat Flying School was formed. It was the old Mirage flight which was part of 85 Combat FS. As the Cheetah was on its way, I did this badge and thereafter the colours was also done. All started in the beginning of 1986….before my son was born.

Very interesting Wildcat.

What other options for the logo and motto did you consider?
