This is bad, Air Tanzania..... not even SAA.

So the SAAF and SAA have no planes and then the government contracted Air Tanzania ? I hope I am wrong.

Please tell me I am wrong

Apparantly, SAA does not have spare capacity for multiple charter flights.

Air Tanzania has just been banned from flying in the EU, so perhaps they have the spare aircraft?

Is that not putting the troops in more risk? do they get extra danger pay?

ZS-RSA has a permanent VIP config, so not more than 20 seats AFAIK

The Air-Tanzania plane that landed today, at Bloemfontein brought back an injured Soldier.

He was carried of the plane and then taken away by Ambulance.

Is there no more Casevac planes available?

His family was not informed he was injured.

Wish him a full and speedy recovery!

I'm not sure why he did not come on an earlier flight?
