Tenders awarded during October 2011

Armscor, the State arms procurement agency, issued a number of tenders and contracts relating to the SAAF during October 2011.
These included the following:
A Request for Quotation was issued to Denel (Pty) Ltd, t/a Denel Dynamics, on 5 October for maintenance of the missile ground support equipment of the SA Air Force.
On 13 October, Sysdel CC were requested to tender for the maintenance and repair of the Oryx radar jammer, Lynx Elint system, Dakota Elint system, open loop tracker and radar intelligence system (RADIX) for the South African Air Force.
On the same date, SAAB Grintek Defence (Pty) Ltd, t/a Electric Defence Systems, were requested to quote for the maintenance, repair and support of the electronic warfare self protection systems (EWSPS) for the C-130, Oryx, Rooivalk, Hawk, A109, Gripen and associated evaluation and support for the South African Air Force.
