SAAF to concentrate on discipline in 2004

Air Force chief Lieutenant General Roelf Beukes says his service will this year concentrate on bettering discipline as well as representivity.
"In 2004 we will be merciless towards those members who fail to maintain basic military discipline." Beukes also said the service was stymied in recruiting sufficient pilots, navigators, technicians and air traffic controllers by the small pool of interested applicants, the Afrikaans daily, Beeld, reported.
