Qiao Qingchen meets South African air force commander

Qiao Qingchen, member of the Central Military Commission and commander of the PLA Air Force, met with Carlo Gagiano, commander of the South African Air Force and the delegation led by him yesterday in Beijing.
Qiao Qingchen said that since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and South Africa, the relations between the two countries have witnessed rapid and comprehensive development. The Chinese side is willing to further expand the cooperation with South Africa in various fields and actively promote the development of the strategic partnership between China and South Africa. The Chinese Air Force attaches importance to developing its friendly cooperative relations with the South African Air Force and is willing to step up exchanges and cooperation with the South African Air Force in various fields and push for deepening the relations between the two air forces while enhancing the exchange of high-level visits.
Gagiano expressed the hope that his current visit would help promote result-oriented cooperation between the two sides in various fields and promote the development of relations between the two militaries.
