New Silver Falcon paint scheme to go ahead

Further to the News article of 11 April 2008, it has been confirmed that approval has been given for the Astra aircraft of the Silver Falcon aerobatic team to be painted in one of the original three designs.
Target date for the unveiling of the new scheme is at the African Aerospace and Defence show at AFB Ysterplaat in September this year.
The aerobatic team performed their first display using the Astra during the 1999 display season. Although their previous mount, the Impala Mk I, was painted in special colours, the Astra retained its standard SAAF colours of red and white.
