Armscor issued a number of tenders relating to the SAAF during March 2009.
These include the following:
Indicating the immanent release to service of the Rooivalk attack helicopter, two Quotation Requests were issued on 25 March as follows:
- Execulog: Operating management system during handover and release to service for the Rooivalk combat helicopter
- Rood Associates Consulting (Pty) Ltd: Engineering support during handover and release to service for the Rooivalk combat support helicopter
26 March saw a number of aircraft maintenance contracts being extended. These include the following:
- Denel (Pty) Ltd, t/a Denel Aviation: R485 607: Product support services for the Hercules C130 aircraft
- Execujet Maintenance (Pty) Ltd: R4 593 798: Presidential Boeing Business Jet product support services
- Execujet Maintenance (Pty) Ltd: R1 075 656: Product support services for the Beechcraft aircraft
- Execujet Maintenance (Pty) Ltd: R2 837 782: Product support services for the Cessna Caravan 208 aircraft
