Tenders awarded during May 2009

Armscor issued a number of tenders relating to the SAAF during May 2009.
These include the following:
A R1 075 583,00 extension to an existing contract for the service rectification and engineering support during the recovery of SAAF C-130 BZ 402 was awarded to Denel (Pty) Ltd, t/a Denel Aviation, on 28 May 2009. The value of the extension is R1 075 583.00. The original contract was awarded on 29 May 2008 and was valued at R5 281 523.00.
On the same day, Aerosud Engineering (Pty) Ltd were awarded an extension to their contract for product support for the C-47-TP aircraft system. The extension was valued at R8 077 943.00.
