Tenders awarded during July 2009

Armscor issued a number of tenders relating to the SAAF during July 2009.
These included the following:
A request for quotation was issued to a number of companies on 2 July 2009 for the lease of a side-by-side trainer aircraft.
2 July also saw a R335 790.00 contract being awarded to Denel (Pty) Ltd, t/a Denel Aviation, for the integration of a counter measure dispensing system on the Rooivalk combat support helicopter.
Requests for quotation for the provision of product support services for the South African Air Force Beechraft King Air, Cessna Caravan 208, Falcon 50 and 900 aircraft were issued on 24 July 2009.
Sofema of France was requested to submit a quote for the Ulmer oxygen mask (used on the Astra trainer) on 28 July 2009.
