The Scout is the land-counterpart of the Wasp, with skid landing gear, non-folding airframe and a horzontal tailplane.
The Scout never flew in SAAF service and was acquired from the Bahrain State Police (ex BSP-1) as a gearbox testbed for the Scout, hence the SAAF serial 'GT'.
