185A Skywagon 		715 42 Sqn 1+2 OK 4nm west of Beitbridge Successful forced landing on a sandbar in the Limpopo River, with no damage to the aircraft. Cause was engine failure due to Jet A-1 contaminated AVGAS.The aircraft was recovered the next day by an Oryx that used a long line to lift the 185 from the sandbar. Unfortunately, a cable failed during the operation, resulting in the 185 being dropped 300 feet. The aircraft suffered Cat 5 damage.
