3 Jul 2005	Impala Mk II	1068	85 CFS	1 OK	AFB Hoedspruit	Captain Colin Sparke took of from Hoedspruit for an Navigational Exercise, at 600ft his MKII struck two vultures and he was forced to eject due to insufficient airspeed and altitude. Aircraft exploded on impact. Sparke only suffered some scratches and bruises.

20 Aug 2000	Impala Mk II	1089	85 CFS	1 k	Hoedspruit area	Initially reported as pilot disorientation on night take-off and crashed upside down. The aircraft had a failure that resulted in the change of aerodynamic forces on the aircraft. As a result the aircraft was uncontrollable and the pilot was unable to eject because of this. It happened in the circuit whilst on downwind.
